We have put some in here at the shop. Already trying to use warranties after a month. Directions are in engrish at best. And light output is bright, but odd in housing. In round headlight bucket, it's very obvious only hitting the top right. I.e. 12 to 3 range. On both left and right.

We try to convince people all the time of best headlight choices and it fails.

Hids are great. In a hid headlight. Otherwise the light is spotty, reflects poorly in housing, can cause heat issues, its just meh. Not only that, good hids are used in OEMS, use those brands. Phillips. Not bought from ebay from China.

They use the top of the housing because they want it to have a decent cut off. The top LED is low beam the bottom led is "High Beam." It gets you more light, but not a whole lot of distance. That is the case with the crappy HID kits too. A quality retrofit is the only way to go for great headlights.

With that being said I am still pleased with these LEDs. I have had them in for a week, so time will tell on the "lifetime" aspect. They work in my truck housing very well.

I wish they would do 3000 or 4000k for the fogs. Something yellow would be great. Id like to see the headlights in person, but I love my FX-R retro way better than what Ive seen from these. The high beams on the FX-R just blow these LEDs away, but for stock replacement they dont look bad. LEDs keeping getting better and better.

Ohh yeah FX-R is going to be way better! As it should be, that is not an easy modification. Although these are not cheap, still a lot cheaper than a retrofit.

I am interested on hearing how well these lights work for animal eye shine . Where I live , there are hundreds of moose and deer just dying to tackle the front of my truck . The road up here is a 250 mile giant salt block . The factory halogens suck for this purpose where LED is supposedly better at pointing out Bambi and Bullwinkle .
If you see any critters , can you post back ? Would it be worth the upgrade or should I wait for the Lazer lighting to hit the aftermarket ?

So I received my LEDs today and installed them this evening. The install was quite simple but I did loosen both battery and washer fluid tank but didn't have to remove them. As for the output here is my take.

The 6000k is nice and clean. I don't see an overall increase in brightness however I do like the fact that when you switch from low to high you are basically adding the high beam to the low beam output which to me is very nice. You don't get that bounce in the beam like you do with the halogen.

For the $133 I would say its worth the upgrade however being in the LED industry these are from overseas and depending on how you buy them from chances are you are getting the exact same product so won't hurt to shop around.
