Frustrating problem. Bought a switch from a vendor on here that is an LED switch that fits into the blanks below the AC controls. Wired everything up and the switch operates the lights correctly.

Have the switch powered from the IGN fuse under the coin holder.

Figured it might just be a bum switch, so I tried the switch that came with the Hella kit. Same thing...works just fine powering the lights on and off, but no illumination on the switch.

Tested the ground from the switch by holding a volt meter to the ground wire and into the cig lighter, and it registered 12V, so to me the ground is good.

Any ideas? I can't believe that both switches have bad lights. Worst case, I don't care that much because it functions fine to actually turn on the lights, but I wasn't sure if something was wrong and might be a danger down the line.

    Thanks
