We'll recently I bought these two lights from my older brother and during install I dropped and broke the glass on one. He doesn't know which model they are and I need to order a replacement...I know that their PIAA 510 but don't know if it's the driving light or fog light. The bulb size are the ultra white h3 bulbs and the bulb when it's turned off is blue. Anyone know how to identify it? It says SA E 98 on the glass part on the top if that helps?

Is there just two types of 510s? Because i think the fogs have that yellow/blue lens right? Hook the good one up to see the light pattern, should be easy to tell, the driving pattern throws light pretty far, thats what i have.

You need to replace the outer lens? I remeber seeing a spec sheet for the 510s with all the replacement part numbers. I bet the lens is the same on most of them, plus everything is probably interchangable. Ill see if i can find it again.

Looks like i was wrong, each of the 4 different kinds of 510s have a different part number for the lens.

My 520 spots had that yellow/blue lens. You are correct though, hooking them up would be a quick and easy way to determine if they are driving (spot) or fog pattern. Only other way I can think to figure out what they are would be to get the serial number and call PIAA.
They are definitely crystal ion and either fog or driving pattern. You can rule out the ATP and any of the white lenses.

^thats what i thought mike, but looking on their site they have a fog pattern, all terrain pattern (40*) and two driving patterns. Heres what my lenses look like if it helps

Correct, but I believe only one fog and one driving pattern have those yellow lenses. The ATP doesn't come with the yellow lens.

Best bet is to connect them like they had mentioned earlier and see what kind of beam pattern they put out, I got some 525 SMR but they have both hi and low beam integrated into them, low beam is 2500k yellow fog and a white beam on hi. To me you have a fog pattern but that's just my opinion.[IMG]
