I'm in the middle of trying to complete my retrofit. I'm trying to mount the projects into the bowl but the threads coming from the projector don't seem like enough to thread the nuts onto. Also the nut is way bigger than the hole so I am not able to tighten it. Am I doing something wrong?

I had to call and purchase the round lock nuts so I would not have to cut the housing.

what kit is that ? My minis didnt look anything like that. You sure you are putting the washers in the right order and direction? I know if you put them in wrong it wont fit like that.

The new one's shafts are shorter than the older ones.

You have to cut your housing down to allow more of the shaft to come through.
