Can't decide if I want to "Black Out" as spencer hong did in his sticky post above or go with 3rd Generation Projector Headlights. The ones below run for about $200.00, I really like the "look" but want to get some of your ideas on what you have done and would you recommend going with the 3rd gen set pictured below.

Basic run down of these lights.

    They are cheap.
The lens coating starts to peel.
    Eventually they leak.
The output is usually worse than stock.

Retrofits are about $250 if you are up for a project. Then you can also paint them black.

I have aftermarket lights like that on my BMW Z3 and I definitely agree that they are cheap, the coating has started to peel, and the output is horrible. They haven't leaked yet though, fingers crossed. I was scared to do the retrofit too until I saw the amount of information on this website to guide you through it. Because of that my retrofits are now on the way and like many other people will say, it is the way to go.

Honestly all those aftermarket ones are junk made in china, in the same factory. They may look a little different but all in all they are the same exact things.
