BHLM Mod Help! :( Cant do it!

    So i finally took off grill and now i took off the 4th screw but the other part of it doesnt come off? wtff :mad:....what do i do? (it was black by the way) am i taking off the right one?

    Well i want to sayy that the BHLM mod is a bitchhhhh...the 4th screw thing is so hard to screw off!..ive been at it for like an hour !! woww well im gonna go and keep trying some more so yeah keep yall posted

    I actually have a jeep now. Imagine that.
    im done with class tomorrow at about 2 oclock. I'll take my grill apart and try to get the lights out so maybe i can give you some pointers. Just gotta make sure i have my gf around for her small hands!

    This is exactly why I am not doing this mod...


    I'd get it apart and not be able to get it back together. I don't think the cops would like me driving to work with big holes where my lights used to be.

    its not the black one!! Its the screw right above it. It is silver just like all the other screws you took off. So put the black one back on and go to the screw right above it and thats the one you want to take off.

    Yes the top screw!! And its easier to put back on, cuz you figured it out already. But the passenger side one, well that one kicked my ass. Arms are to big, and the skid plate was in the way a lil at that angle.

    Thanks flaw, i just ate and going back to the garage to try and take this screw out!! im determined that its gonna come off haha but ill keep yall updated :rolleyes:

    yeah after i put that post on the black screw i felt the silver one on top, so now its just a matter of taking it off but well see, keep yall updated!

    And when u put everything back together u can leave that one off and it's so much easier.

    Well yeah no success doesnt want to come out, i was there for a total of about 4 hours just trying to get the screw off, for real all of yall that have the BHLM done two thumbs up to all of yall, i didnt think BHLM would be such a bitchhh to do! keep trying tomorrow morning haha dont got shit to do being that i finished high school last week (9week course) so for the next nine weeks just gonna try and do mods to my truck :D haha well keep yall updated tomorrow to tell u whats upp

    I would have done the BHLM mod as well but I had bought some aftermarket ones off of ebay and I wasn't familiar with this site 2 years ago!:eek:

    surprisingly, now that i have done mine, i could get both lights and the grille out in probably under 20 mins. You learn the way your arm has to bend to fit in there and how you have to hold the ratchet, and once you do it, you are going to be like, man, that was so easy, i don't know why i had such a hard time.
