Retrofit High Beams Don't Work

So the relays are clicking, is the light going out when you switch to high beam?

 

Nevermind. Relays aren't clicking.. Something's clicking but they're still on low beams..

 

Id say put 12v directly to the projector relay and see if they are functioning.

 

Ill try it but I haven't had time. I've been driving all day and I'm still driving. My high beam indicator is permanently on. Does that mean anything??

 

I'm going to take a guess. Maybe the shield isn't going down?

Have you reconfigured the H4 connector yet?

 

Yeah. None of the configurations made a difference

 

Ok so I'm back at work on them. I just got the high beams to work. I flipped then on and off about 5 times, then they went back to not working...

 

Maybe the harness is bad? How old is it?

 

Brand new... This is the first time I've used it.

 

My first harness that I got with my retros would blow fuses when I hit the high beams. Turns out it was a defective control box/harness. Check the fuse for the highs and see if it's popped. It's a 5A fuse in the under hood fuse box. Other than that, I'd probably bet on a bad control box, meaning, shipping back the harness for a new one.

 

Had an issue like this. I swapped the brown and white wires in the harness. This worked for mine.
