    Hello electrical experts,

question. I've mounted up and am working on wiring 4 Hella 700FF's to my Taco and am hopeful someone here can help me with my question. In a nutshell, i don't want the Hella's tied into the high beams and am wondering where it is I should connect in the remaining wire.

I've drawn a sketch of what the wiring is I have so far (relays included) and i'm hoping someone has a simple answer for me...as i'm sure this is much easier than i think it is.

    can you help me?

Since you want them to be operable without needing your high beams on at the same time, just tap into any constant 12v source. You could easily run it out to your battery.

That is what I did with my spots. I have 2 spots and 2 driving lights. I have the driving lights triggerred off the off beams so I can utilize on the road. I can also switch them off if I want to. Since the spots are not street legal you would not want to trigger off the high beams.

Did you connect the spots back onto the battery?

You can connect them to any 12v source that is fused for the load of the relays. Whether it is a constant source (12v available whether the ignition is on or off) or an accessory circuit (12v available only when the ignition is on or turned to ACC) is up to you. I don't remember if you did, but don't forget to fuse the positive lead going to your relays from the battery as well.

battery to relay for both. Hi beam to switch for relay trigger on DLs. Add at tap in under dash fuse box to switch for trigger on spots.
