Just did this last weekend as I was waiting for dipstick tube to clear after changing the oil, and thought I'd give people an update on the wire colors.

Here's the original post I worked off of, credit to Piercedtiger:

From what I can tell the side markers blink with the turn signals when they are off, and opposite of the turn signals when the parking lights are turned on. I'm not sure yet as I haven't done it yet. Will post up after I try it.

    Parts:
    • 2 pieces of wire
    • 2 butt connectors
    • 2 quick splices
    • shrink tube, electrical tape, etc
Just cut the black/white wire on the side marker and splice it into the Red/black on left. For the right cut the black/white and splice to red/yellow.

On my 13 the passenger side wire you tap into is blue, on the drivers side I used the yellow wire. Seems to work so far.

Slight lift for function. Mods galore.
I Know this is old as dirt, but is there any way I could get an image of the wiring once completed. I don't like the idea of "cut the black/white wire" unless necessary. I tried this yesterday and all I accomplished is blowing the turn signal fuse lol. I tried using a quick connect on the two.

Unfortunately any pictures I take would be useless, as I wrapped and taped all the connections. I do know you have to cut the black/white marker wire. Then splice to the turn signal. This is what sends the signal to blink. If you didn't cut the wire that's most likely what caused the blown fuse.

    Good luck.
