I finished mounting my duallys in the fog light holes and will be doing the wiring today. I don't really want to cut the plug off of the wires on the light. For those who have used aftermarket fog lights, did you cut both ends off and wire together or use the connectors that came with it and just cut the harness?

I am not so much worried about the stock tacoma fog light clip. I don't want to cut the wire on the Rigid. That way, if I get a different bumper one day or move/replace them I can use them elsewhere with their factory connector and just get a new harness.

Great suggestion! That is what I do when adding lights to customer vehicles. I either use it direct for low current lights, or use it to power a relay for high current lights. Did this recently on an FJ.
