when i did the BHLM to my 2012 i wasnt thinking i wanted to retro my headlights, well, now i think i do. they came apart and went together flawless. and i used 3M window weld along with what factory adhesive was left to reseal them. they have been done for a few months now with no leaks.

My question is, can you re-open the headlight for a second time without it hazing the lense or warping the light? or will doing this have no negative affect what so ever. Thanks all!

Yep my last set was re-opened and re-closed and I didn't need to add any sealant. Just don't get the sealant everywhere when you open it.

Awesome thanks! I would just hate for the process to age the headlights prematurely and make them haze. Haze is bad lol

    Wicked easy the second time.

3M window weld comes apart like a dream, but like Andrew said its very messy and stringy so you have to watch it

Chiming in for this. Opening them back up is much easier the second time. But you have to watch the sealant as previously stated, it'll be stringy and will suck if you have to wipe it off the bezel or reflector bowl. No leaks after it's been resealed (in my case)
