well i posted this on customtacos so why not post it here too. i had a set of black crystal clear ebay lights laying around, so i decided to try something out.

heres what they started as...(shitty pic i know)

so first i removed everything off the light so that it was just the lens and housing left..

heated up the oven to 350 degrees. once it was 350 degrees i turned the oven off and put one of the headlights on a cookie sheet with a chunk of cardboard on it and left it in the oven for roughly 8 minutes.

slowly pryed the lens off of the housing using a small screwdriver and my mad guns lol

once apart, i taped off the parts of the housing i didnt want painted.

gave the black parts a quick scuff followed by a good cleaning. after that, sprayed 4 light coats of white Krylon plastic paint.

let it dry, then put the housing back in the oven at the same temp. and same amount of time as before. after i took it out of the oven i ran a bit of clear silcone over top of the factory sealant to make sure no water could get in.

after all that, re-installed all of the mounting crap.

a little rough around the edges but in person you cant notice anything.
