    I have a few Ideas :D

I've been driving around with my truck looking like this for over a year now. I haven't been stopped and the cops around here are very quick to write tickets. But then again, these are a "legal" color (Amber)

I'm looking at getting just like a white led light bar and then to get new white headlights. Suggestions?

That's sweet looking. What color would look good with navy blue. Or should I just go white.

    Thanks.

My truck is metallic nautical blue which is probably close to the color of your truck. I chose amber for the lights because it closely matches the turn signal and running lights. I also have the lights in the hood scoop connected to a programmable controller so I can make them flash in any pattern that I program in.

Well, you might be out of luck with that.

I work with PLCs (programmable Logic Controllers) These are used for controlling automated industrial machinery. We were throwing some broken ones out a while back. Being the packrat that I am, I couldn't stand to throw away "good stuff". I was able to take the parts of 2 or 3 of these and make 1 good one. However, I have seen where people have used a controller called an Arduino. I believe you can program this from any PC and there are all sorts of modules you can connect to them. Do an internet search for "Arduino" and I'm sure you will get plenty of hits. I think Radio Shack even sells these.

Figured it'd make the google search a wee bit more effective. :)

I've never actually programmed an Arduino but from what I have seen and read about them, they are relatively cheap and very versatile. I just happen to have the luxury of having access to an industrial controller which is way overkill for what I am using it for, but it was free. :D

Here is an early video showing a couple of different patterns. I'm also showing off my LED headlights and fog lights. Turn your volume up and you can hear my air horns near the end of the video at 1:39. :D

I added a couple of different still shots of the lights too.

What exactly are you looking to buy?

If you just want an LED strip to stick in place, Autozone sells 12" adhesive back waterproof strips in several colors. You can also find all kinds of LEDs at superbrightleds.com
