The low beams on my almost new '13 Taco are great but the hi beams are really poor on the back roads I use. Is there a way to have both hi and low on at the same time?

No there is not. The best solution would be to get brighter bulbs or retrofit.

    I went from a 4th Gen 4Runner with Philips Xtreme-Vision 9006 (low beam) & Philips 9011/HIR (high beam)... to a '14 Tacoma...

I'm not a fan of H4 bulbs because when you switch to the High-Beams the Low-Beam & Fog light turn off. Thus, making it look dimmer (less light right in front of you).

Try the "always on fog light mod"... that should help out.

Without Retrofitting, switch out to a +50% or better bulb from Narva/Philips/Hella. Avoid Silverstar & "HID Look" (with blue coating) bulbs do NOT help with brightness.

Thank you Matt. I'll get some better bulbs.
