I recently switched out my DDM Tuning HID Kit. This is how they compare:

55w DDM Tuning HID Hi/Lo Kit with Slim Ballasts.

Passenger Headlight is 6000k the Driverside Headlight is 5000k

    5000k:

    6000k:

Now I understand that the Passenger side is scratched to all hell. So i swapped the bulbs ONLY. It's the same set up same bulbs different side:

Left Headlight is now 5000k and Right Headlight is now 6000k still on a DDM Tuning HID Kit running 55w Hi/Lo.

    5000k:

    Conclusion:

As you can see the 6000k has a slight blue color and the 5000k is pretty clear I terms of color to make it a white.

I did not do a brightness comparison as the testing would be flawed due to the extensive scratches. However I have not seen a side by side comparison of HID coloring just photos of one set then replaced and another. I have not ordered all of the different levels of coloring nor do I plan on it. However feel free to compile my thread to another HID comparison thread just be sure to compare them to 55w as the 35w hold more color then the 55w. I also did a comparison of the Rigid Industries and Aurora Single Row 20" LED Bars that can be found here:

    Hope I've helped the community.

Here is some general trivia not by me:

NiceI The 6000K looks great, I'm going to have to do that to mine. Just an FYI if you already didn't know, the K stands for Kelvin, a type of measurement of light color/temperature. So as the number increases, in your case from 5000 kelvin to 6000 kelvin, the light becomes more blue. With that being said, a 7000K would be even more blue than your 6000k. :)

What can I say I like light. This guy gets it:

Except I want to have light in 360* around my truck like an EOD Convoy.
