I have always wanted to hang a pair of gigantic 7" auxiliary lights on the front of a vehicle. With the Tacoma I finally have something big enough.

I purchased a kit from rallylights.com that contained 2 lamps and a wiring harness. The rallylight guys are great; super friendly and super helpful. I got 100 watt Eurobeams because I wanted the wider pattern. I also bought a switch that fits Toyotas, but it must be for older models than mine; I had to hack the opening a bit to get it to fit.

I used an Elusive Elements light bar to mount them behind the grille. I got the light bar from an ad on this forum. I have the factory tow package and the oil cooler was interfering, so I pushed the lights out a bit further with a couple of simple brackets.

Right now I just have two big holes chopped out of the stock grille. My plan is to do something satoshi-style eventually. I'll probably leave big holes in that too because I really don't want anything in front of the lights.

Nice lights, but ouch that kind of looks I don't know how to say it. Satoshi grill doesn't really hide the that much. And would look a 1,000,000 times cleaner and nicer than that.

Yep the grille chop is, uhmmmm, less than pretty. But functional! :anonymous:
