I have searched for an answer for this question and have found conflicting answers so before I cut I need to ask.

Just installed bruteforce hybrid front bumper and now I am adding okled 20" led bar. Removed oem bumper with factory fog lamps.

Can I simply cut one side of fog lamp harness (2 wires) and splice into wires on the led bar?
And will oem switch function normally?

as long as your amperage works out to be safe. The factory halogens should be a higher draw than your 20" bar. Check the fuse on the circuit. But its already run off a solenoid.

No, you can not and should not. The 20" light bar has far more draw than your factory fog lights did. Fog lights are 35 or 45W, if you have he 20" CREE double row light bar, it's 120W.
