Make DTRLs go on with Headlights?

Is there a way to make the daytime running lights go on with the headlights as oppose to shutting off when the headlights come on?

 

They do go on with the headlights. They're just dimmer.

 

Mine don't

 

Mine don't either. Just blink when headlights are on.

A 2012+ thing, maybe?

 

You should be able to tap into the power wire for the low beems and use that to switch a relay that is tapped into the power for the running lights. I did this with my side marker lights to have my turn signals run as marker lights as well.

 

Ya mine just turn on as the turn signal when the headlights are on. And Artruck I was trying to see if there was a write up on this as I dont trust myselft to try and tap into a wire on my own

 

Bump, anyone with a 2005-2011 model have any ideas

No I was more looking to have the DTRLs go on when I have the headlights on, they shut off when I turn the headlights on

 

My 2012's just go dim when lights are on and of coarse blink...

 

Ive seen what I'm talking about on the 2012+ models but not the 2005-2011

 

In that thread, there should be pictures showing the DTRL anytime mod. I can try and look further into it for you. The writeup I don't believe is in the thread itself, but if you PM CSJumper he can tell you how to wire your DTRLs to be on anytime.
