Wiring problems.. any help is appreciated

Hello all!

This morning i was driving and normally my head unit will dim automatically if the headlights r on and today, it wouldnt dim. Then i noticed that none of the lights in my air conditioning panel were on. I made a left turn and the blinker comes on momentarily then goes stops blinking, the head unit dims and the gauge lights flicker. i got out afterwards to check the outside and my taillights will not come on. Headlights work tho. I have a 2011 base model with the original LED taillights. Thank you for any help!

Check grounds and lighting relays

 

Thanks, do you know off hand where these relays and ground r located?

 

Behind the battery in the engine compartment and to the left of the steering wheel where the fuses are.

It ended up being a corroded terminal on the trailer connector. It was blowing the fuse for the brake and tail lights. Thank you for the help!

Yep, trailer stuff will do it often. Experienced the same thing with much frustration until I figured out it was a short in my trailer wiring.

... and dejavu, it feels like we did this recently in the last couple of days.
