I bought a set of spyder headlights a while back, and the light output is terrible, and ive been thinking about putting a set of hids in them because my low beams are projectors, anybody have any experience with this and know if it will work?

If you put HID in you should have a projector retrofit. HID bulbs in reflector housings scatter light everywhere.

The spyder headlights have a cheap projector in them. Your light could still be all over the place. Still have your stock headlights? If so, i would do a BHLM and a retro fit and toss those spyder lights.

Hid kit WILL work in those halogen "projector" spyders. Im guessing for a 2nd gen? Better output for sure, but will not be anywhere close to a real projector.
