    Hey Tacomaworld,

Some of you have seen me mention Heretic Studios LED lighting from time to time in my build thread, website, or thread for roof racks.

I became a dealer for them shortly after finding that they were a local LED light manufacturer with some awesome product.

I wanted to start this thread to post current deals, news, updates from Heretic.
Feel free to post feedback if you have their products, ask questions if you are unsure about something, post photos you have of their lightbars etc.

Current news is that Heretic has their original billet construction USA made 10 watt LED bars on sale for a final run. These lights are super unique and super powerful. Link to the website

These are on a first come first serve basis. You can order them from me, or directly from Heretic.

    Description from Heretic

The bar that started it all and our most popular LED light bar of all time is back for an exclusive run. This LED light bar literally started with a CREE XM-L2 LED and a proprietary LED driver and we make the rest in house. We use 6061 aluminum that is CNC'd out to form the outer cylinders, large baseplates, all LED surrounds and billet bezel rings. We cut the outer lens from a CNC laser in house, cut the o-rings ourselves and then have the backplate decals made just up the road in Ogden, Utah. The internal power strips are made from a 6061 piece of aluminum and then gold plated by a local artisan to maintain their integrity and consistency and optics are imported from Germany. After that all parts that need to be anodized are sent to one of the few houses in the USA that can do a bright dip anodized finish. So our anodized finishes shine a little bit more than the rest, the colors pop a bit more. We then assemble them by hand in house according to our customer specs and desires. Standard colors are black on the heat sink cylinders, hand polished aluminum on the baseplate and you choice of silver, black, orange, red, blue or green bezel rings. They are back for a limited time only so get them now while you can! Features and specs are as follows:

Entirely made of 6061 billet aluminum
    Spot/flood combospec'd by the customer
Anodized bright dip black square heat sink cylinders with hand polished aluminum base plate
    5000 lumen through 5 10 watt CREE LED's (10")
Modular design allows for 10 inch sections to be connected together in as many 10 inch sections as you would like
Small form factor cuts down on wind resistance and keeps weight down
USA made, USA assembled, USA supported
    Exclusive design, limited quantities available
Silver, black, orange, red, blue and green bezel rings available at no extra charge.

Right now Heretic is in the process of introducing a new line of lightbars, the Wraith series. With that change all the other bars were discontinued but since the wraith comes in a minimum of 10" lengths they may be keeping the pods around. I will talk to them to see on tuesday.

    Some stupid expensive stuff
So going to resurrect this one from the dead. I have the 40" on my Cabrac, it is the 4 piece single row bar. While it is insanely bright and I like the design of it, I do have two issues.

    1. It wobbles like crazy. I have tightened all bolts on the brackets holding the pieces together, however it still wobbles so much that I'm ready to remove it. The fact that it's mounted to the rack I believe amplifies the sound in the cab to the point of other people asking what's loose on my rack. (It's extremely noticeable)

I will throw the gopro up there to get some video once the sun isn't setting at 1700

    2. One of the end sections has water intrusion into the lens. I haven't taken the section apart yet for fear of voiding any warranty. This hasn't effected operation of the light, but has changed the light patter and output on that side of the bar.

Also, pics to come of that as well.

Like I said, the thing is crazy bright, unbelievably so but after having it 6 months I'm starting to feel like going with the competition may have been a better idea.
