I bought a 30" Light Bar from Avec Lighting (mikevee was awesome at helping me out with any questions I had and super quick and patient with his responses). I highly recommend going through him!

    Specs of light bar:
    • 18000 Lumens // 6000k Temp
    • Made of High Grade Die Cast Aluminum.
    • Premium PMMA Lens Material
    • Wide Operating Voltage Range 10-30v DC
    • Waterproof, Dust-proof, Rust-Proof, Shock-Proof & Corrosion Free which Support Works in Extreme Weather Condition

I started by removing the grille and the front bumper. If you have never done this before pay attention to how things are hooked together (could save you time when you have to put it back on).

Once the bumper was removed, I measured 4" in on both sides of the crash bar and drew a line. Then I i placed another line 3¾" on both sides to line up with the hole in the bracket that the bolt will go through. Drill out the holes next.

    IMG_1235.jpg

Once I was satisfied with how it looked, I painted the brackets with some Rustoleum Spray Paint. I also touched up my grille and front Toyota emblem since I had it off and there were some rock chips on it.

    IMG_1238.jpg

Next was the wiring. The light bar came with its own harness and two different switches. After running all the wires to where they needed to be I modified a blank switch inside the truck to accommodate the switch that came with the light. That way it would still retain mostly factory looks.

    IMG_1241.jpg

Now that wiring is completed it was time to start putting the bumper and grille back on. (This was more of a pain but I eventually got it!) I cut out the "grille" on the lower valance so I could slide it in over the light bar.

    Here is the final product!

Couldn't find a super dark area last night but I still was able to test it out. Happy with the results!

So I would think with the space you have, you can fit a 32 inch in that slot. Anyone tried it with a 32 inch?? I am tempted to try it.
