$600 is way too much for that garbage IMO.

I think they are butt ugly too. :puke:

X2. And it'd probably be cheaper actually. Even cheaper if you can manage the project yourself.. Really not that hard.. And yes, you'll have way better output. As well as the satisfaction of a successful diy. And the praise you'll receive from us;)

Also, being a '13, I imagine your headlights you have now aren't that bad of shape? Can probly use those and save yourself the cost of new housings. If anything is needed, restore the lenses if they're slightly hazed. Then wrap them in clear uv protectant film to delay further hazing. Or maybe clear coat them. But most just get new housings.

If you really insist on wanting those lights, I would wait until the price drops. Because they most likely will. Then when you get them, some preventative maintenance will be needed. Probly reseal them with silicone. Or even perhaps retro some minis from Trs in them and reseal with butyl.

I'm with everyone else. I'd find a member on here like ambiguous or pete from insight retrofits to build you a set or take on the project yourself. There are lots of write ups and it would be cheaper.

I hear that some people like those lights, but they tend to leak and the performance for that price is not too great.

The reason as to why I want to up grade the headlights is to upgrade the look ...... there is nothing wrong with the stock headlights.

I know that it is a bit pricey and have not bought it yet. Just saw them and thought of adding it to my mod list. I have done a Google search on the mod headlights and saw the the prices range from $459.00 to $599.00. If I were to buy them it will be DIY project .

If you are going to do a DIY check out the ongoing group buy from The retrofit source if you do Mini H2 the price for parts isn't bad and if you do it to your oem lights without buying a second set of headlights that will cut cost down as well.

I've seen a 2nd gen with those blacked out ones, doesn't look too bad IMO.
