LED TURN SIGNAL MIRRORS?

I don't know where the thread is, but has anyone changed or tried to modify the LED signal on the mirrors? I want to change it to white!

The turn signal "lens" contains 3 amber LEDS that are mounted on a circuit board. Once you have the lens off of the mirror, there is a cap on the end where the wires plug in. This can be removed with a small screwdriver once you pull off the black weatherstrip material. Inside you will find a "D" shaped board with the LEDs. If you have soldering(and desoldering)skills you should be able to replace these with whatever color LEDs you want.

Any one use ebay power mirrors with turn signals? See them going about $100 dollars each .Wondering if any good .
