I have Srq flush mount kit that came with a wiring harness and 3 way switch. On/off/on with reverse lights. The shop that installed said they couldn't do they 3 way switch because it would cause the dash to light up with errors. I could only choose on or on with the reverse, not both. Is this true?

I'll post pics of my bumper later.

I would pick a different shop to do the work... they obviously have limited knowledge in how to wire that correctly.

I originally wired mine this way and the dash l8ght would come on so i decided agenst it and later installed that system in a friends truck ant it took a couple extra relays

The install can be difucult. But im'am an electrican so it wasnt that bad

That's weird, no lights thrown in my truck. The rigid 3-way switch is wired a little different, it has two incoming feeds and one common outgoing. I even wired an OTRATTW 3-way switch the same way and used only one relay. You don't need two relays to get that configuration working.

If you like, I can sketch you a little diagram that shows how it's using only one relay.

I know what you were thinking though because I had to stop and think for a while and drew myself a diagram on how Rigid had it wired. First thing that come's to mind is two relays. But it's simpler than that.

I need to finish my writeup, but I installed a set of SRQ2 (Driving) in my ARB. They are amazing - and Sean and Brett were badasses to deal with. Amazing product and company all-around.

I'm thinking about getting some. Do we have any night pictures? Cause honestly I think I only want one, not two.

I have a bunch of GoPro footage that I need to render down, and some night photos too. I have been way too busy lately, but I will try to get a write-up done this week (I promised Sean and Brett that I would do a review for them :))

    Stay tuned

I got the video clips rendered last night, and I will put together the actual "write-up" sometime today/tomorrow and post a link in here.

Here's a video showing some different comparison shots of the SR-Q2 while driving:
