Headlights have mind of its own... (turns on with engine off)

I have a 02 tacoma with remote started installed.
Problem started with my dash lights (especially the clock) making clicking noise while blinking. This was about a week ago.
Last night I realized that headlights (with headlight switch turned off and car off) would come on with mind of its own after being parked for an hr. If I turn on the car, I can turn the headlights on and off but I am not sure how to go about fixing this issue.
Has anybody experienced a similar issue with their 02?? There is no auto light option.

Did all of this start AFTER installing the remote start?

My 02 headlights will intermittently come on also. If I turn the key on they will go off. If I turn the key off they will come on. A couple hours or a couple months may pass before it happens again.
