That's cool! I have a similar one. Great choice by goin with the surface mount LEDs on a circuit board rather than the ones that are like 3x2 and don't light up anything.

    I never said 3"x2"...

This is what I have in my dome light. It provides more than enough light in my opinion. I do have my map lights connected with the dome light, so there is plenty of light when a door is opened or the dome light is switched on.

These are made with Luxeon (surface mount) LEDs, and are the brightest:

These are made with standard LEDs, not as bright:

Both are very low current consumption, so if you leave your dome light on overnight, you won't (read: shouldn't) come out to a dead battery.

    I got all my LED's from v-leds.com and oznium.com
LED is the way to go, and they'll last a long time if you go with a good brand, never tried the cheap ones off Ebay but I haven't heard but things about them either.

    Here's what I changed:
    -Four door lights (194)
    -Two Map Lights (194)
    -Glove Box Light (74)
-Two Mirror Lights (Vanity, get them here: http://www.v-leds.com/Shop/Control/fp/scat/122433/SFV/32481 )
-Middle Dome Light (Oznium Ultra-Thin 18-LED)
-Trunk Dome Light (Oznium Ultra-Thin 18-LED)

What are all those extra pieces for lol? I don't understand where they all go. How do you get the cover off your dome light?

Could you possibly take a picture of the process and of the lights themselves?
