    ok so i swear this will be quick,

    do these black pieces need to be removed?

    if that is a bi-xenon hid kit then no
    thats the shield to move from lo to high
    also if its not dont remove it because that will help you keep a straighter line coming out of your headlights because you do not have a projector as a headlight but a shiled.
