Thanks for all the great write-ups. Got a question for those of you much smarter than I.

How would I make it so my fog lights work exactly like stock except for they stay on with my high beams? I still want my toggle switch to function and I don't want them on with the DTL. Is there an easy variation of the mods listed here?

Thank you.

The "Foglights on anytime" mod disabled the DRL mod. Is there a way to have both work together?

I used JiveWalkers method on my 2010 OR and it works as expecte.

My only question is: the male connection that I stuff into the ignition port isn't very secure/tight. I can easily pull it out myself. Should I be concerned about this and is it a fire hazard if it were to somehow slip out while driving?

The dividers within the box itself press on the wiring between the fog relay and the ignition area so that should hold it relatively in place, but wanted to ask the question.

Thanks!

Route and attach the wire using the quick splice

Your done!

Your welcome. Me too!

What gauge wire are you all running for this? I've already done teh mod and love it, but was just wondering...

Is it bad to tap into that green ignition wire twice with two sets of lights? I have my anytime fog mod, but just put in an LED bar i want powered only when the ignition is on. Would it overload that wire to have both sets of lights tapped in?

Done with fog light mod in 10 minutes! I used a male thin profile blade connector from a stereo harness and slid it into the factory harness behind the ignition wire. Didn't like the idea of cutting into the factory wire, and this is a super tight connection. Anyway, pics below and thanks for all the info! Cmatt, glad you figured it out man!

Crom, BTW, probed the block and all are hot +12v unswitched
Not to bring this back from the dead, but this method worked awesome for me. I used a connector from a left over 9004 HID harness that I had. Then zipped tied that wire to the other wires going into that harness to secure it in. Fogs lights work great, and I feel better about this method than the fuel pump relay method. Thanks!!

Completed Foglight Anytime Mod

This mod was so easy. I believe a fifth grader could do it........LOL
All it took was wiring the fog light relay to the ignition wire. See the RED wire.

Fog lights whenever you want them.
