What bulbs for HIDS

im getting 8000k hid headlights and 3000k hid fogs

i have no idea what bulbs i should get. any suggestions?

i dont even know what they mean

8000k? That is quite blue... I have 6000k on my Taco and it is almost even too blue for me. Depends on your style though too. If you drive up and down the main drag, those 8000k will be great head turners, but if you plan on doing any offroading or going out of town, you might be disappointed with the light output. That's just my .02 though, but you will love the HID regardless.

X3. I also have 6K bulbs for my headlights and they are a little to blue for me to but I still like them. I also have 5K bulbs but they arent blue enough....LOL!!!

yea i still think im going to go with 8000k i offroad alot but not at night.
id rather sacrifice light for looks. if i ever did heavy night offroading ill get a light bar and some hellas.

I got some on my home computer with the 6K headlights and 3K fogs. That wont be for a few more hours though.

just since you have this topic up, i was wondering for the 5000- 6000 k bulbs are they just a straight swap out from the originals or do you have to change anything to run the HID 5000-6000 k bulbs for head lights
