Lightforce 12 volt or 24 volt

This will be a quick one.....I hope. Im looking at the light force 170 strikers driving lights, and there is an option for 12 volt and 24 volt. Now i am a bit slow (read retarded) when it comes to electrical stuff, so whats the difference/which should I get. Thanks

24V is typically a military standard for vehicles.
