Anyone mount 700ff behind their grill?

I've been reading the threads and have only read on the 500ff mounted behind. Will the 700ff fit? Anyone van recomend any other lights? I'm planning on getting the grillcraft grill.

 

What kind of grille do you have and how deep are those lights?

700ff dont fit as easily as the 500ffs.

If you worried about output.. you can get the 500s and then retrofit them with HIDs. There's a "how-to" thread somewhere here on TW.

 

Yeah, I read the thread but it seems like a lot of people have been having problems with HID's.

 

I have HIDs (5000k) in my 500s... no issues.

 

For those that have mounted the 500 did you have to get longer bolts to attach to the top of the radiator support bar. I know theres two holes up there but I would like to mount them a little lower so they are more centered.

 

Yes, I bought longer ones.

 

Did you use a longer T bolt or just a regular style bolt head?
