HID Bulb going out need help

When i turned my headlights on tonight i noticed my drivers side headlight (HID) turns on dim for a quick second and then goes out completely.. does this mean that i need a new bulb or could there be a connection problem?

Check your connections, but it sounds like a ballast problem.

 

mine done that for a bit but on the passenger side. it turned out that it was my ballast. the ballast burnt up and i had to get a new one. it was under warranty. if its not too hard then put the passenger side ballast on the bulb and see if it still does it then if it does it will pretty much have to be your bulb

 

just switch the ballasts around and you'll know if it's the ballast or the bulb

alright guys i switched the ballasts and the same sides out so i guess its the bulb.. anyone know a cheap place for a replacement 35W 6K ? .. i thought these bulbs were suposed to last longer than a year lol
