New brake light not working

    my passenger side brake light was out so i bought a new one. when i put the new one in it still didnt work, and the old bulb looked fine to me. does each brake light work on its own fuse? the other one still works so thats all i can think of. thanks its a 2005 prerunner

    Hold on? Since the bulb was out or not working, you bought a whole new passenger rear light housing?:confused: Have you tried swapping bulbs just to test it?

    I think he just replaced the bulb.

    I'm with ya...I was thinking the same thing.

    Did he replace the bulb or the socket?

    To the OP - check the connections inside the socket also.
