Dealer installed Leather, Truck Cover USA roll up cover, Pop n Lock, Bilstein 5100's on 4 corners set at 1.75, Rear Spring TSB. USA Spec iPhone adapter, 265/75/16 Mickey Thompson ATZs.
I am making my own light bar for the front... Since I am not sure how much I will like it I got 4 Hella 700s for 100 bucks to try out on it. I see some run 2 light, 3 lights, 4 lights and even more...

What looks best... I mean after all who cares about performance if it doesnt look good....:D

Anyway... I think I attached a poll.... I need to weld on the tabs and I cant decide what I like best...

I'm believe you can never have too much light however if you are going for looks and function I think 3 lights is just right. IMO 4 on the front of a Taco looks crowded.

Hmm, Hella 500/700 are 55w incan's, meaning they put out roughly the same amount of light as a headlight ("roughly" I said!)

I have 2 500's, not all that impressed with them, and I even upgraded the bulbs a bit. I mean, they shine far, fairly easy to adjust, but really nothing my brights don't already do.

I'll probably go the HID route on them.

Anyway, to answer your question, since they're so much like a headlight, get as many as you can!

I've seen a few trucks with 4 lights on their light bar and I personally love it! It adds alot of character to the front end! Cant wait to see how it turns out. Post some pics when the project is done!

    Not Enough
I,m not too much a fan of hella, but i do run a set of hella 500 on my pro rack for backing up in the woods. I prefer my piaa 510 in my allpro bumper and the 580,s in behind my grill. I have not had any bad luck with my hella,s but the piaa light is a much better made light...just my 02 cents:D

Hella 500s @ Wal-Mart for $63/pair. (After looking online, this may just be the local Wal-Mart.)

The thread asks 'How Many Lights'... Why does the poll have Hella 700s listed and then 'none' as the only choices? I guess it should read 'How Many Hella 700s?'

As Crocadile Dundee would have said: " That ain't no light... THIS IS A LIGHT " >>>
