    just curious to see if anyone has done th BHLM with nightshade over the chrome to give it a gunmetal tinted color?

    i searched but didnt find anything..

    if anyone has done it please post up some pics.

    Meh, I wouldn't do it. Since the VHT Nite-Shades works in layers, you would not get an even result. To paint the headlight bezel, you have to paint it all sorts of angels and do different sweeps. Therefore, you would end up with uneven darknesses in different areas. Just get 2009+ TRD/XR headlights.

    Funny you that you have this post. I just painted a spare set of chrome headlight bezel with a "Smoke" color paint from Duplicolor "Metalcast". What do you think? Looks almost like my 2010 OEM Smoked headlights. The camera doesn't do it justice.
