Halo led installation...

Need help installing my new headlights. Has anyone done it? (successfully)

Do you mind explaining to me how to do this? I see there's three sets of white and black cables.

 

white is the power, black is the ground. tie into whatever line you want, whether it be the parking light or DTRL/signal line. i suggest the parking light circuit.

 

Don't let the multiple wires intimidate you. They're all positive or negative.

So I got them working! But when I turn the brights on, the LEDs and halos turn off. Is that normal since the brights need extra power?

 

^ you spliced them to the low beam wire and not the parking lights like i stated didnt you...

 

Did you get it man, I'd be more than happy to meet up with ya somewhere and help ya out but you're just too darn far away. lol

 

Uhhh... Which one is the parking light? Everything is undoable.

 

the bulb in the top corner of the OEM light.

hint: all those lights are going off because you most likely tied into the lowbeam lead (the lowbeam does not have power when you flip on the brights)

 

Oh.lol ok I'll try it when I get home. So they're supposed to stay on all the time right?

 

^ again, you can wire them however you want, but if you wire them to the parking light, they will stay on whenever the parking lights are on (basically all the time the lights are on).

obviously they work as wired now, so again, there are several ways to wire them...

 

What about when I put the HID kit on?

 

Nothing changes. You just pop the HIDs in.

My HID's flicker or make this wave(fire like) movement. Is this normal or did I mess everything up?
