Well, just gonna throw this out there and say that just changing that bulb would not make it look any more like an audi than it already doesn't. People switching those to LED have been having issues with melting inside due to heat. Decent idea, I just think that others have done better audi type setups with these trucks.

You do realize that it doubles as your turn signal too, right? Not only that, LEDs are very directional in there light distribution, making it not easily seen from an angle. I would think it over pretty good before deciding to use white, much less an LED in the turn signal.

it would still be slightly tinted yellow, as that is the lense color. also, it would look pretty stupid, as LEDs are very directional as stated, so it would look like you have a quarter sized light coming from that area....

It's impossible for it to melt because of heat. LEDs draw much less current than incandescents. LEDs can be brighter than incandescents if you buy the higher quality ones. Not the ones from eBay for $20. Go to v-LEDs.com and get their new dual color turn signal 3157. They're going to run you about $60. But they are bright because they use LEDs similar to the ones behind your gauge cluster. To fix the hyper flash, just simply get a set of load resistors from them as well.

LEDs are directional, but the SMT LEDs give a wider output. The reflecor bowl will enable you to see the light from the same angles as an incandescent.

    I hope that helps.

It looks blue but I bet it's white. Camera tends to oversaturate.

Those bulbs don't work. Its suppose to white all the time, then amber wen turn signal turns on. Intalled it on my truck, they stayed amber the whole time. Some of the LEDs burnt out, had them for a year. Not really visible to oncoming traffic with you got HIDs too
