So i did this last night then put them in the morning. The passenger side did not turn out as good as the driver side. I will get some night pics tonight.

I like the idea of doing it to the Hellas, but it brings me back to Brunes's point about it filtering your light and therefor diminishing overall brightness? I suppose the ascetic appeal is the only benefit.

I wouldn't do this to driving lights... just the fogs to cut through the fog/snow/rain.

yellow has a longer wave length. This allows it to travel farther in adverse conditions such as rain or fog.

The paint is actually almost gooey, not sure how to describe it. If you spray it on thick somewhere to test and wipe it off you will see, its almost like a gel.

Iono, but for 8 bucks a can, I can recoat the lights probably 50 times, so its not to big of a deal
I'm thinking about doing this to my fogs but wanted to follow up and see how yours were holding up? Have you had to recoat them yet?

Thread revival! haha Just wondering what the preparation was for this mod. On the krylon site it tell you the prep for different surfaces. It says to sand or scuff almost every surface listed. Im assuming thats not what you do to the fog lights. Im guessing just clean them real well?

I just washed mine with soaps and the yellow side of a sponge. Let it dry. Be careful though, they scratch easily.

Excellent idea... offers a user controlled level of transparency. Hey, just like the Obama administration! It's good to be politically correct in this day and age, or so I'm told.

Seriously tho... this technique does look better than the appliques. I am doing it!
