My halo light fog up to the point i got so pissed i took them out and put the factory lights back in. Then i went inside and ordered 6000k Bi-Xenon and 3000k fogs. Now reading about the lights looks like i will blind the piss out of everyone. WTF The bulbs i got are for the factory lights. Do i or Can i use the projector from my POS fishbowl lights and install them in the oem lights? Or will i be ok with running the 6000k in the oem lights. will the bulbs i ordered even fit in the H1 projector. I think i got ahead of myself and got the wrong bulbs.... What is the best way to handle this? Do i work on the halos and reseal them or retro fit projectors in oem light and a BHLM or just put the F in HIDs in and drive.[IMG][IMG]http://www.hidxenonheadlights.com/

They do not make an H4 projector. Popular sizes are D2S, D2R, D1S, and H1 (CHEAP). I might be missing a few others.

so I am stuck with the H4 or can i find the projector i want and buy just the bulb / not the entire kit. what would be the best retro kit to get. The halo lights i have use the H1 that are "cheap" so i should stay away?

Is the bi-xenon kit you bought the H4 lo/hi combo? If it is then I'd say you need to use oem housings since your other lights have seperate lo and hi beam bulbs. And if so, I'd also say undo the lo/hi always on mod too. IDK about taking the aftermarket ones apart and playin around with that. Just re-aim the lights down a bit after installing. Unless you got 55w kit then you should be OK on not blinding people. My gen 2 aftermarket lights are seperate but there is H7 in the lo beam projector and 9005 or 9007 for the bright. I did HID fogs and left the headlights alone.

Sounds like if he does that then the HID kit for headlights aren't gonna fit.

Not sure which ones are the "old" ones anymore, lol. Assuming you are using the HID kit in the oems and talking about selling the black'd out gen3 ccfl's?

yup i wanna sell the gen3's Now i have another problem? I installed the new lights and all worked great until today my fog lights dont work. WTF. Could it be the main fuse? Any help on what to look for or were to start. Fuse first then trace the power to the bulbs? Can i use a volt meter and see if i have power at the ballast/bulbs. A few tips please.

Camper top with racks, Custom fogs behind lower bumper. Interior LED lighting, Rock Lights, Hella 500s with upraged bulbs behind black billet grill, AAL, Front 5100s
I'd start with the ballast ground, then try the fuse and the connections, then the power.
