I am planning to order the DDM 35w H4 bulb 4300 HID kit for my 08 Tacoma. Other than the hi/lo bulb to I need to buy a harness? They offer a dual in / dual out harness and I have no idea if I need it? I put one of these kits on my Buell and it rocks. For $55 its hard to pass.

it is really that easy to install the HID lights???

did you guys have to move the windshield fluid resevoir and the battery?

cause I want to put it in myself, but I dont want to f up my truck electrical and dont want to mess up the horizon of my head lights!

does the DDM give you zip ties and velros??

all you're doing is replacing the bulbs and adding little metal boxes wherever they'll fit. no need to move anything. i got zip ties with my kit

i just bought the same HIDs with hi/low for my truck but i have been kind of nervous because i have replaced my stock headlights with 1st gen projectors. i have been looking at pictures and it looks like the projectors split the high and low beam. im not really sure how to work it when i go to install the HIDs. this is what mine looks like now.

it probably doesnt help that im deployed so i cant just go out and look at my truck.

I use 55w for spot lights. 35w is what you want for driving lights

I installed mine a few days ago and all you have to do is:
    1. take out the original light bulb
    2. put in the hid bulb with the metal shield
    3. plug the lights into the ballast
    4. plug the ballast into the main wires where everything connects
    5. put the 2 metal rings that are positive and negative in the truck
    6. secure it all
    i love mine:D
