Black Tail Lights??? Do you know anything about them other then being illegal???

I saw a 10'-11' Taco yesterday on the road with really nice black taillights. Im not sure if they were tinted or covered. I saw these covers and was wondering if anyone has experience with them or has any suggestions???

I depends on your state laws AND how dark you go. I used VHT Nite Viz. It is a kind of spray that you put on and it darkens the lenses but your lights shine through it. Works great. Just dont go too dark. I used 3 coats and it looks pretty sweet.

 

Any cover or paint over the tail light is illegal. It depends on the LEO that's behind you or the person doing your inspection.
