I have a 2006 Taco, my left light is out and my right one goes on when I give it a whack, fortunately I wanna change these to LED's. Does anyone know how to get the ball rolling?

i have the same problem... they all like to turn on and off. I just hit it. Also, my heater/AC almost never work unless on full blast. Otherwise it just turns on and off.

I just took it apart few minutes ago, there are four bulbs: 2 for the buttons and 2 for the entire panel. The bulbs for the panel can be twisted off and the other 2 are soldered on. The Panel bulbs are $15 a piece from Toyota; but after some research their cheaper at superbrightleds.com listed as (NEOx-xHP: NEOx High Power LED Instrument bulb) $2.29 and the other 0.67 cents.

Sames problem here... One light one until I smack it ...

Wouldn't this be an electrical short since hittin the dash makes the bulb come back on?

Question: I have 2002 Tacoma SR5 and am replacing two bulbs in the climate control panel. Fan & temp selection no longer show up at night when headlights on. One bulb clearly has burned filament, but want to replace both while panel is out. I have 3 bulbs in this instrument cluster but cannot tell nor find any replacements locally (tried pep boys & napa). Does anyone know the specifics on this particular bulb (or a suitable replacement) which is the smallest I've ever seen and how I can replace it while avoiding dealership?
