i saw these a while back and the other day i saw one on a truck and i was wondering if anyone had a light bar like this on their truck. If so, do you like it? and to guys that dont have one, what do you think of it? I like the idea of having some extra back up lighting and this would be totally out of the way of harm off road too:cool:

I know it is not easy to install it our truck in the conventional spot. I have seen alot of malfunctioning ones on the road in the past. If it where not for them two things I would have one.

Yeah, I've never seen those things work properly on any vehicle I've seen them on. If you're looking for some aux. reverse lights just grab a pair of cheapie fog lights from WallyWorld and hook them up to your bumper.

you could try and rig up a way to mount some cheap fog lights on the top of your bumper on either side of the license plate.

You wouldn't be able to run them under the tailgate on a 2nd Gen. The hole for the spare tire crank is in the middle. I too have seen some with the lights out. Also I've seen ones that have not been put on properly. They are wavy and not straight at all.

i have one of those and it works great. i have had it completly submerged in water and all the lights still work. and with the hole for the spare tire crank, that is were i ran the wire threw since the light strip is cut into two pieces. i got mine on autoanything.com for about 40 about 3 or 4 months ago but i just checked and they raised the one i bought up to about 70.
