Lights behind stock grill

anyone have lights mounted behind their stock grill of a 1st gen? looking for ideas on mounting untill i can order a mesh grill

 

I was thinking of doing the same thing...space looked like an issue to me, so I was considering the KC SlimLites, 100w Driving Lights. At first glance, looks like you'd need to create some type of mounting bar behind the grill.

Let me know what you come up with, so that I can copy it.

 

Blast from the Past Bump!!!! I was thinking the same thing but it seems no one ever does it. This is the closest thing the Search button found!!

 

It seems Like we would need a grill craft front grill to mount behind the grill. The grill crafts pop out a little and that will allow for a behind the grill mount that we want. The only problem is that the grills are $200.00
