Help with some hella wiring

So i bought 2 hella 700s on craigslist and i am looking to hook them up. I know the lights work and everything because i hooked them straight to the battery to check them so no worries there.

I have seen the hella wiring harness kit but i was wondering if there was another (cheaper) way to do it? I know i should use a relay and i already have a switch. Any recommendations or suggestions? Any help is great thanks!

Your best bet is to use a relay and inline fuse. Check pep boys or advance auto if they are in your area.

 

Amazon is the cheapest for those, when I was searching...

And it does have the right relay and inline fuse.

 

I just ordered the Dorman 85937 kit from Amazon. It cost me around 15 bucks including shipping which i think is pretty fair. I will review it next week when it arrives and i get it all hooked up. thanks for the advice!

 

wiring up th hella kit isn't that hard, when i get some free time this week I'll do a write up for it.

 

Just in case anyone else reads this, Dorman is a very common automotive supplier. You should be able to walk into any auto parts store and give them the Dorman number posted above and have them order it for you. There is usually an equivilant on the shelf somewhere anyway.

 

Just make sure to use a fuse and relay.
