Hello, I am a new member here on this website and I have a few questions about my Tacoma. I drive a 2006 Toyota Tacoma, 2WD, Double Cab, and I am wanting to put some new Gauge Lighting where the speedometer is and all that, because the faded orange gets old after a while, but I have the slightest clue what size lights I need or how to do it, and I'm just so confused. I've tried to find other threads and things that might help, but everyone always has higher model vehicles that features may not work for my vehicle. If somebody could maybe let me know what size lighting I would need, how to take the cluster out, what tools I would need, and pretty much their opinion about it I would really appreciate it!

Thanks man. You got a really nice Tacoma!! Blue has always been an awesome color I think haha. But yeah, you have the same color interior Gauge lights like what I'm wanting to do to mine. I also like the white numbers with the blue needle combo. Looks very nice I think! :)

    +1

Surface mount LEDs... soldering skills required.

We have a couple of members that will do the mod for those who are not confident.

Have this guy do your gauges. I have seen his work in person and his gauges are amazing. I don't know what he charges for them though but I highly suggest them.

I meant LEDS in my first post... Lol. But yeah, I have a teacher that knows how to actually replace them and take the cluster out, he just needs to know what size LEDS my Tacoma requires in order to help me order some and get the right kind you know. I also forgot to minchin about how many will it take for the numbers, needles, ect if anybody knows. I am wanting to do a White Background (Numbers, RPM) and Blue Needles.
