I am interested in getting some nokya light bulbs for my truck 05 tacoma. I have been doing a lot searching and I really only see reviews on the yellow and the arctic white. I'm interested in the h10 cosmic white 55w for my fogs and behind grill lights, and the h4 dot super white 55/60w for my headlights. I don't want a blue blue color like the arctic white put out, they are 7000k, the cosmic whites are 5000k and the dot super whites are 3800k. I think they would look nice, just a slight blue. Any thoughts on nokya and the bulbs I'm thinking about using.

Well I order a pair of nokya h10 cosmic white 55w bulbs, $26 shipped from eBay. I'll try them in my behind grill housings. If I like them I'll consider for my fogs and headlights.

Good to hear positive experiences with nokya on here. I was looking at the yellows as well. I just want a little better lighting than stock.

Wow 6 months is not very long... I'm hoping I'm happy with the h10 cosmic whites for fogs, I may just go with the piaa intense white h4. Double the price but it's worth it if they last.

On the subject of lights... I installed new headlight housings, blacked out, and my headlights need adjustment they are pointing down too far. From what I can gather if I get on a level surface and 25 feet away from a wall the center of my beams should be an inch or two below the center of my light fixture? This would give it a slight downward angle.

Within that 6 months, how many miles did you drive?

The H4 bulbs has an average life rating of 300-350 hours; some heavy duty or long life bulbs can reach upwards of 500-700 hours (less wattage). That is roughly 18k-21k miles if on the highway; or much less if you live in the city (10k-12k miles).

I got my nokya h10 55w cosmic white bulbs today, strange the packaging says 55w but it says 45w on the h10 base. I still got to wire up my lights, maybe tonight...

Probably 12k with 70% highway, but it was mostly daytime driving. I ran my headlights in the daylight some, 8k miles would be a generous estimate of what I got out of them. For comparison I had Hella bulbs before the Nokyas and they lasted a little over a year.

    Hella Yellowstars?
That is another great fog bulb along with the elusive or perhaps discontinued Osram all-weather.

Fired up the nokya bulb last night, not too impressed. The color is ok, slight bluish, but the output is not what I was hoping for. Seems like the stock fogs give off more usable light. I'll see if they help in bad weather.

for use in all weather conditions anything in the yellow family will "perform" better. You will see better in snow/rain/fog with yellow.

Sorry man but i feel that NOKYA bulbs are hit and miss :( I've had 2 pair of Nokya's and they've burned out every 6-8 months i was pretty pissed I though the first pair had a manufacuture flaw or somthing but when it happened again i was done with them. My Yellow fogs are still running strong though but i dont use them all the time like some people. I even used dialectric grease on the prongs and latex gloves to install.

GO WITH THE Piaa Xtreme White Headlight bulbs there best bang of your buck. They're super bright and have a nice color to them. Hope this helps.

PIAA H4 SERIES XTREME WHITE PLUS HEADLIGHT BULBS 60/55 = 110/100 watts I'm pretty sure its brighter than stock not positive though. I've got a heavy duty wiring harness on my headlights and fogs not sure if it helps but thats what they web site i bought from recommended. I've got the Nokya hyper yellow for my fogs. Havent fried or melted anything. Been running all for over 3 yrs now.
