Dual 10" LED Light Bar Lower Grill Install

I'm extremely happy with the way the LED light bar installation went!

I wanted to use a single 20" or 30", but had to use dual lights due to the front license plate law now passed in Texas. I ended up cutting the grill to give it a cleaner look; chose 10" lights as these seem to be the best fit.

Used an angle bar on the front bumper brackets as support. Lights are Rigid Industry clones, aka, Aurora LED lighting. The Aurora's are superb quality - I am setup as a dealer if anyone is interested in a group buy.

Looks good. What switch did you end up using?

I ran a 30" bar, and just moved my plate up.

 

I found the LED Light Bar Switch (see photo - next to fog light switch) from Air on Board. They have a lot of different switches; comes with wiring too.

In regards to How-To's, i found some posts on TW forum where others installed a 30" bar in the lower grill using an angle iron ($15 part from Home Depot). Having used 2 light bars was a similar installation.

No link to the lights as I am an Aurora light bar dealer. If you are interested in some light bars, let me know what size you are looking for.

 

Looks good. I rolled the dice and did a 30". Connecticut also has that license plate law. Haven't been pulled over yet and i was looking for a switch like that. The store is closed for 2 weeks so may i ask how much you paid for the switch.

 

Edgeplay....total shipped was $34 (switch was $27.50). Came with plug in (4-wire) harness. Works great and was exactly what I was looking for to complete a factory appearance. I noticed the site was 'down' too, but they have about 20-30 different logo switches to chose from. I've got one blank left....think of putting some LED's inside the interior - cup holders, doors, etc.
