Intermittent Accessory Meter

My compass and temp. meter is intermittent, have to press hard on it to turn on,. Everytime the truck is turned off, have to do it again. How do I remove this panel and check it out.

 

Here you go. this will help. Mine broke about a month ago. Toyota wants over a grand replace it. Try this.

One screw under the sunglass holder. Pull down on the front of the unit. Remove three torx screws to remove the PCB. Resolder both resistors labeled "510". Careful not to burn the resistor or the PCB. Reassemble and be happy.

 

Thanks, I was able to fix it, soldered the 510 resistors. cost about $0.20 instead of dealer about $1000.00. Very easy fix.
